Avec une présidente d'honneur du calibre de Nathalie Rykiel, fille de Sonia Rykiel, et une programmation plus variée que jamais et qui épouse à merveille son nouvel emplacement (la place des Festivals dans le Quartier des spectacles), le Festival Mode & Design 2014 risque d'attirer une foule importante du 20 au 23 août prochain.

MOUVEMENT
Mercredi 20 août 19h
En partenariat avec l'Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, Mouvement propose un tandem entre la musique et la mode. Retransmis à l'extérieur sur la Place des Arts par la magie de la fibre optique, l’organiste de l’OSM, Jean-Willy Kunz, accompagné de quelques musiciens, fera résonner le Grand Orgue Pierre-Béique de l’OSM durant le défilé.
CONFÉRENCE DE NATHALIE RYKIEL
Mercredi 20 août à 17h00
Le volet Collections du Festival Mode & Design est une nouveauté qui propose une série de grandes conférences, ouvertes au public. C'est au Musée d'art contemporain que la fille de la légendaire créatrice française Sonia Rykiel donnera une conférence sur le thème l'élégance, titre de son dernier livre. À 25 $ le billet, on réserve tout de suite sa place!
LES RENDEZ-VOUS BEAUTÉ

Un évènement spécial 100 $ divertissant orchestré par Greenland, un promoteur de spectacles de renommée internationale. Vous assisterez à un défilé des meilleures tendances de la saison signé par le styliste Andrew McNally au rythme d’une performance musicale.

Le défilé de lingerie qui clôture le Festival est un must chaque année. Une soirée où il fera chaud autant dans la foule que sur la passerelle!
