Non, ce n'est pas Albert Einstein sur cette photo. L'image est trompeuse mais il s'agit en réalité de John Malkovich. Ce détournement de la célèbre photo d'Arthur Sasse fait partie d'une série de clichés du photographe américain Sandro Miller . L'interprète de Valmont, dans les Liaisons Dangeureuses de Stephen Frears, s'est pris au jeu de l'artiste : détourner plus de 30 photos immortalisées par de grands photographes. La série “Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich: Hommage to photographic masters" fera l'objet d'une exposition du 7 novembre 2014 au 31 janvier 2015 à la galerie photo Catherine Edelman à Chicago.

Passionné par la photographie depuis ses 16 ans, Sandro Miller est en partie connu pour ses photos utilisées pour la publicité. Malgré tout, il n'a jamais cessé de se lancer dans des projets artistiques personnels. Débutée en 2013, cette série de photos a été créée pour rendre hommage aux grands photographes qui ont inspiré Sandro Miller tout au long de sa carrière.
