Lady Gaga est la femme de l'année du magazine Billboard.

La publication a annoncé, mardi, que la chanteuse serait couronnée à l'occasion de l'événement Women in Music, qui se déroulera le 18 décembre à New York.

Créée il y a 10 ans, la soirée sera télédiffusée pour la première fois de son histoire grâce à la chaîne Lifetime.

L'an dernier, Lady Gaga a lancé l'album jazz Cheek to Cheek en collaboration avec Tony Bennett. Le disque a gagné un prix Grammy et le duo a effectué une tournée de 36 représentations.

L'artiste prévoit sortir un nouvel opus en 2016 et fait partie de la distribution de la télésérie American Horror Story: Hotel, dont le premier épisode sera diffusé le 7 octobre sur les ondes de FX.
