Le petit ours polaire du Zoo de Toronto a fait ses premiers pas!

L'ours blanc, seul survivant d'une portée de trois oursons nés en novembre, a réussi à se tenir sur ses quatre pattes durant quelques secondes...avant de retomber au sol.

L'ourson de 4,4 kg apprend également à boire son lait par lui-même dans un petit bol, même si le Zoo de Toronto s'occupe le nourrir 6 fois par jour.

L'animal avait été séparé de sa mère, puis transféré à l'unité de soins intensifs du zoo quelques jours après sa naissance. Le personnel avait remarqué qu'il ne bougeait pas aussi fortement après la mort de ses frères et sœurs.
