Cette distinction insolite, attestée par le Livre Guinness des records, vient en effet de lui être chipée par les partisans de l'équipe de football américain des Seattle Seahawks. Comme le rapporte le site Mashable, ils sont montés dimanche 15 septembre au niveau impressionnant de 131,9, puis 136,6 décibels, d'après les mesures établies par un juge du Guinness Book présent dans leur stade. À titre de comparaison, une sirène de camion de pompier, une tronçonneuse en marche ou un avion au décollage à 300 m de distance produisent un bruit compris entre 120 et 130 décibels, tandis que 140 décibels correspondent au bruit émis par une course de Formule 1. Établi en 2011, le record des partisans de Fenerbahçe s'élevait à 131,7 décibels.

Tamae Watanabe reached Everest\'s 8,850-meter-high (29,035-foot-high) summit from the northern side of the mountain in Tibet on Saturday morning with four other team members, said Ang Tshering of the China Tibet Mountaineering Association in Nepal.
