Quarante-neuf célébrités honorent les 49 victimes de la tuerie d'Orlando (VIDÉO)

Quarante-neuf célébrités d'Hollywood, dont Jane Fonda, Lady Gaga et Chris Pine, rendent hommage aux 49 victimes de la tuerie d'Orlando dans une vidéo diffusée il y a quelques jours.

Lancée mercredi dernier sur YouTube à l'initiative de la campagne Stop the Hate, la vidéo a été produite en collaboration avec Human Rights Campaign, une organisation américaine de défense des droits des LGBTQ.

Accompagnée d'une musique sobre et assise devant la caméra, chaque célébrité nomme une victime, dévoile son âge, décrit qui elle était et raconte quelques-unes des facettes de sa personnalité.

Cuba Gooding Jr., Kerry Washington, Sofia Vergara, Angela Bassett, John Cho, Jamie Lee Curtis et Laverne Cox figurent notamment parmi les vedettes dans la vidéo.

Le document de 18 minutes a été produit par Ryan Murphy, le créateur des émissions American Horror Story et Glee.

À la fin de la vidéo, on rappelle que depuis la tragédie d'Orlando, le Congrès américain a voté quatre fois contre des lois visant le resserrement des mesures de sécurité entourant les armes à feu.

En revanche, plus de 200 lois visant la communauté LGBTQ ont été adoptées par des États américains cette année.
