La compagnie pétrolière Suncor a assuré qu'elle avait repris ses activités lundi dans le secteur de Fort McMurray.
«Suncor a confirmé aujourd'hui que la production reprend de façon progressive et prévoit atteindre le niveau de production normal, antérieur à l'arrêt planifié, dans toutes ses installations de la Municipalité régionale de Wood Buffalo (« MRWB ») d'ici la fin juin», a fait savoir la compagnie pétrolière lundi dans un communiqué.
Elle précise que ses installations n'ont pas été endommagées par le feu. Près de 70 % du feu de Fort McMurray est maîtrisé selon le gouvernement de la province.
