La Canadienne Michelle Stilwell brille à nouveau aux Jeux paralympiques.
La Britanno-Colombienne de 42 ans a triomphé à la course T52 sur 400 m en fauteuil roulant, samedi, allant chercher la cinquième médaille d'or de sa carrière en Paralympiade.
Elle a établi un record paralympique avec son chrono d'une minute et 5,43 secondes.
Stilwell, qui fait partie de l'Assemblée législative de sa province, a fait partie de l'équipe de basket en fauteuil roulant qui a tout raflé aux Paralympiques de l'an 2000, à Sydney.
Détentrice du record mondial sur 100 m, elle prendra aussi part à cette course à Rio.
L'Albertain Stefan Daniel a donné un autre podium à l'unifolié, finissant deuxième lors du triathlon, samedi.
