Andrea Nelson is an education professional passionate about providing balanced and well-rounded learning opportunities to all students. Andrea is currently pursuing graduate studies in Elementary Education at Columbia University, Teachers College. Previously, Andrea has worked at Bank Street College helping to design a school leader fellows program, directed an after school arts initiative in Baltimore, taught 3rd grade and, worked in partnership development at national non-profit KaBOOM! to create play opportunities for kids across the country.
