Ben Strauss, Ph.D. is COO and Director of the Program on Sea Level Rise at Climate Central, a nonprofit organization dedicated to communicating the science and effects of climate change.
Dr. Strauss is a founding board member of Grist.org, the popular and irreverent environmental website, and also helped launch the Environmental Leadership Program, another national nonprofit organization. He came to Climate Central after completing a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Princeton University. Prior to that, Dr. Strauss worked for Abt Associates, co-organized the Campus Earth Summit, and authored a report on college environmental education and practices for the Nathan Cummings Foundation.http://www.climatecentral.org
