Coder, high school student

Cindy is a code tinkerer and a junior at Pleasant Grove High School in Elk Grove, CA. She is enrolled in the Innovative Design and Engineering Academy at her school, where she practices the elements of engineering, drafting, and programming. After attending the programming course from iD Tech Camp at Stanford University and the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program at UC Davis, she was able to further pursue her obsession in technology. She is president of her school's Girls Who Code club and participates in a Regional Occupational Program (ROP) class with her Robotics team. Cindy is also interning at UC Davis Genome Center as a JavaScript and R programmer, where she contributes to the development of dynamic web applications. She strives to chase after her passion in coding and hopes to inspire others to get immersed in the amazing adventures of Computer Science.
