Lily Mohamed graduated from Platt Technical High School (Milford, Conn.) in 2006 and interned at Sikorsky Aircraft, where she now works as an avionics technician. She has an associate degree in legal studies and is currently enrolled at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University part time, working toward a bachelor’s degree in aeronautics. Her success, she says, is largely due to her training and experience as a student in the electronics technology program at Platt Tech. a career and technical education school.
