Mohamud is a student studying Clinical Psychology and History at Augsburg University. He works as the Somali community liaison for the Minnesota Urban Debate League, a researcher in comparative theology and the Vice President and resident Khateeb (Lecturer) of Augsburg's Muslim Student Association, he is Qur'an teacher and a member of the Young Muslim Collective.
