The new law applies to schools, locker rooms, prisons, domestic violence shelters and rape crisis centers.
The ACLU has sued the state over a discriminatory bill that prohibits doctors from providing medically necessary care to trans youth.
"Please don't stay on the sidelines as America struggles to find the best path forward. Come off the bench and get into the arena," David Gergen said.
