The Maroon 5 frontman has been named People magazine's 'Sexiest Man Alive 2013', relieving last year's winner, Channing Tatum, from the prestigious title.

The exciting news was announced on Tuesday's "The Voice" episode, where the 34-year-old is a judge on the show alongside Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Shakira.

So what did the hottie think about his new sexy role?

"As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn't really think that this was on the table," the singer told People. "I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren't, so that's cool."

2013 has certainly been a banner year for the singer; not only did he get engaged to Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo (who walked in this year's VS Fashion Show), but he also has a new holiday clothing collection with Kmart.
