Engagement rings seem to be fall's hottest accessories!

First Kaley Cuoco, then Kim Kardashian, and now Ciara. The 28-year-old R&B artist hosted an event at The Hotel Derek for Moet Rose Lounge Houston in Texas on Monday night, which likely doubled as a birthday and engagement celebration. The star, who got engaged to her rapper beau, Future, over the weekend, showed off her new bling with a daring, sheer black cutout dress from the Alon Livne fall 2013 collection.

As usual, the "Body Party" singer left very little to the imagination. Her dress featured a whole lot of cutouts that showed off her ultra-toned body. At first glance, the dress seems to defy gravity, with only one strap holding up the whole thing, but upon closer inspection, the top half is actually constructed of a second-skin sheer tulle. The gown also features a shockingly high slit and a sheer full skirt.

The newly-engaged star kept the rest of her look simple, with an elegant centre-parted up-do, natural makeup, and minimal accessories, save for her 15-carat Avianne & Co. engagement diamond (seriously, we can't keep our eyes off it!). She completed the ensemble with a pair of black patent Saint Laurent Paris pumps with an ankle strap.

Ciara looks pretty fierce if you ask us, but we still can't get over the rock on her finger (it surely rivals Kim K's).
