1. Duster Coat(01 of42)

The perfect chic topper, the duster coat was seen on at Marni (pictured), Chloe, Chanel and Margiela, to name a few. Throw it overtop of a slip dress (another fall 2015 must-have) or a pair of trousers for an added touch of sophistication. (credit:Catwalking via Getty Images)

Nothing says the '90s like a slip dress (hello, Cher's Calvin Klein number in "Clueless"). Take a cue from Prabal Gurung (pictured) and wear underneath a heavy overcoat, or take a cue from Rag & Bone and wear overtop of a T-shirt and trousers. (credit:Victor VIRGILE via Getty Images)

And by pantsuit, we mean le smoking, not Hilary Clinton. Saint Laurent paid homage to its classic style with cigarette trousers, a boxy blazer and suspenders, while Derek Lam went for a more relaxed, oversized look. If you really want to push boundaries, opt for an all-leather pantsuit a la Ralph Lauren. (credit:Thierry Chesnot via Getty Images)
