Reddit is a great forum for discussing potential baby names, but a new thread has revealed some of the most unique choices parents have made.

On Wednesday, one user asked: "What's the most ridiculous name you've heard a parent give their kid?" What resulted were some pretty interesting monikers you'd probably never think of.

Take Strawberry Rain, for instance, which was voted the weirdest name on the thread thus far. Reddit user captainmagictrousers explained: "My coworker named her baby 'Strawberry Rain,' which would be a great name, if she gave birth to a bottle of shampoo."

Other unusual monikers were inspired by pop culture, such as Aero Smith and Kimyonce (a mix of Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé), while some were inspired by the animal kingdom, such as Dolphin and Trout.
