Over 20 years have passed since the last episode of "Saved by The Bell," but fans who grew up with the sitcom can soon relive the days back when Zack, Kelly, A.C., Jessie, Lisa and Screech were one of television's favourite clique.
But if you're looking to relive the glory days of "Saved by The Bell", Lifetime's "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story" movie might not be what you're expecting.
Back in June, Lifetime announced it was producing a TV movie based on a behind-the-scenes look at what happened when the cameras weren't rolling, according to BuzzFeed. Based on Dustin Diamond's book, Behind the Bell, the film paints a grim picture of the in-fighting that went on between the former teen stars.
Now the first clips have made their way online and if they're an indication of anything, NBC's often light-hearted comedy was ripe with drama.
For starters, Diamond, who played Samuel "Screech" Powers on the show, claims the rest of the cast used drugs and partook in threesomes. Though, it should be noted, Diamond's the only one with a public sex tape among the group.
While most of his former colleagues have yet to comment on the allegations, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who played Zack Morris, said he had a very different recount of what happened on set.
"It is negative ... everything I've heard about his book is it is negative. I don't remember those things. My experience with the show was very positive," Gosselaar said in an interview with HuffPost Live.
