The Delhi police was facing a virtual revolt from its rank and file on Tuesday as thousands of personnel laid siege outside the police headquarters.
The IPS Association’s Tamil Nadu chapter, in a statement, condemned the incident at the Tis Hazari court.
Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik urged the protesting police personnel to return to work, adding that their concerns will be addressed.
