JNU Attack

Two weeks after a mob of masked intruders assaulted JNU students, the Army Welfare Placement Organisation has washed its hands of any responsibility for the grave security lapse.
The home minister keeps bringing up the 2016 incident following which former Students Union president Kanhaiya Kumar and others had been jailed on charges of sedition.
“The whole country is with the JNUSU in their fight for justice. Everyone knows about your protest and also about what has happened to you in the fight for justice,” Vijayan told Ghosh.
Prasar Bharat’s video was followed by a series of quotes by the JNU registrar that insinuated that the Sunday night attack on JNU students was triggered by those who “opposed” the registration.
