The British royal has been contacted by federal prosecutors and the FBI, the United States attorney in Manhattan said on Monday.
Prince Andrew stepped away from public life recently after his connection to the late sex offender began to affect his family's work.
The Duke of York has also said he will help with any investigations into his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
