Brad Pitt se tient loin des projecteurs depuis l'annonce de son divorce d'avec sa femme, Angelina Jolie, la semaine dernière. Il n'a d'ailleurs pas assisté comme prévu à la première d'un documentaire de Terrence Malick, mercredi.
L'acteur, qui assure la narration de "Voyage of Time: The IMAX Experience", a déclaré par communiqué, mercredi, qu'il était heureux d'avoir participé au projet, mais qu'il se concentrait actuellement sur sa situation familiale et qu'il ne voulait pas que ses problèmes ne détournent l'attention.
Le producteur Sophokles Tasioulis a déclaré, devant la salle californienne où avait lieu la première, qu'il comprenait l'absence de Brad Pitt, et a ajouté qu'il voulait que les gens viennent parce qu'ils veulent voir le film et non parce qu'ils veulent savoir ce qui se passe en coulisses.
Brad Pitt est également producteur du film.
Angelina Jolie a déposé une demande de divorce, le 20 septembre, après deux ans de mariage et 12 ans de vie commune. Elle cite des différends irréconciliables et demande la garde exclusive des six enfants du couple.
Le FBI dit continuer d'évaluer s'il enquêtera sur une présumée bagarre qui aurait eu lieu entre Brad Pitt et son fils de 15 ans à bord d'un avion privé, le 14 septembre dernier.
