Dimanche 2 octobre, le Meadows Music and Arts Festival promettait de se terminer en beauté.

Un concert de Kanye West venait clore deux jours intenses au CitiField à Queens à New-York. Les fans se balançaient sur le rythme électro-romantique d'Heartless, quand tout à coup, "Louis Vuitton Don" a dû interrompre brutalement son concert comme vous pouvez le voir dans notre vidéo ci-dessus.

"Je suis désolé", annonce Kanye West au micro, en plein milieu du morceau, "J'ai une urgence familiale, je dois arrêter le show.

"La foule était en état de choc, raconte un jeune spectateur de 17 ans à la chaîne américaine NBC News "Beaucoup de gens ne pensaient pas qu'il partirait vraiment". La fin de son concert a été annulée et les spectateurs, déçus, ont fini par rentrer chez eux.

L'origine de ce départ précipité se trouve de l'autre côté de l'Atlantique. À Paris pour le défilé Givenchy de la Fashion Week, Kim Kardashian a été braquée dans son hôtel. Selon plusieurs médias, près de dix millions d'euros de bijoux auraient été dérobés.
