Barack Obama est bien décidé à embarrasser ses filles en public. Un jour après avoir chanté joyeux anniversaire à Malia, le voilà qu'il révèle que sa cadette, Sasha, possède un compte Twitter.
En conférence mardi en Caroline du Nord pour soutenir Hillary Clinton, le président américain a révélé l'information au détour d'une pique envers Donald Trump: "Tout le monde sait tweeter, a-t-il lancé en référence à l'hyperactivité du candidat républicain sur Twitter. Mais personne ne sait ce que c'est de faire le job tant qu'il ne s'est pas assis derrière le bureau (présidentiel). Sasha tweete, mais elle ne pense pas que ça la rend apte à s’asseoir derrière ce bureau."
L'annonce d'Obama a éveillé la curiosité des internautes. Les filles de POTUS et FLOTUS ne sont pas connues pour leur présence sur les réseaux sociaux. D'ailleurs, en 2015, une photo de Malia sur Instagram avait fait scandale à la Maison Blanche. Alors les internautes cherchent désormais à retrouver le compte secret de Sasha, 15 ans.
Un compte, @SashaObama, a ainsi été suspendu par Twitter dans la soirée de mardi.
Une utilisatrice du réseau social, @DeniseBriceno, qui se présente comme résidente de Californie et fan de Justin Bieber, a été bombardée de tweets pour savoir si elle était la fille du président après une blague qui date de juillet 2015:
"Un bon anniversaire à ma sœur Malia Obama! Logique que notre père soit président et qu'elle soit née le 4 juillet, le jour de notre fête nationale!"
Mardi soir, la Californienne s'est étonnée de cette soudaine notoriété: "POURQUOI TOUT LE MONDE ME DEMANDE SI JE SUIS SASHA OBAMA??? J'AIMERAIS QUE ÇA SOIT LE CAS".
Avant de s'avouer vaincue et d'avouer, faussement, pour calmer les internautes: "Mystère résolu: je suis Sasha Obama."
En attendant, l'identité Twitter de la vraie fille du président reste inconnue. Et les blagues à ce sujet se multiplient sur le réseau social depuis mardi soir.
"Retournement de situation: Sasha Obama est Sasha Fierce et est Beyoncé depuis tout ce temps" (en référence à l'ancien alter-ego de la chanteuse)
"Sasha Obama tweete en secret et a écrit les trois derniers albums de Drake."
"Le fait que Sasha Obama soit peut être en train de te suivre sur Twitter et tu ne le sais même pas..."
"Le nouveau film Indiana Jones devrait être sur Harrison Ford qui essaie de trouver le compte Twitter de Sasha Obama."
