Après l'annulation d'un de ses rassemblements émaillé d'échauffourées, Donald Trump était samedi matin en bordure de la piste de l'aéroport de Dayton (Ohio) pour s'exprimer face à plusieurs milliers de ses soutiens.
Un rassemblement qui, une fois encore, ne s'est pas déroulé sans encombre. Alors que le milliardaire se disait "galvanisé" dans sa campagne, un protestataire a en effet brusquement tenté de monter sur scène mais a immédiatement été interpellé, tandis que les gardes du corps de Trump, des agents du Secret Service, s'empressaient d'entourer le candidat pour le protéger (voir la vidéo en tête d'article).
"Le Secret Service a fait du bon boulot en empêchant ce forcené de monter sur la scène. Il est lié au groupe Etat islamique. Il devrait être en prison", a tweeté Donald Trump en fin de journée. Trump a partagé un lien où l'homme en question, qui s'appellerait Thomas Dimassimo, est filmé en train de traîner un drapeau américain sur le sol lors d'une manifestation sur un campus universitaire.
Cette vidéo semblait toutefois s'inspirer davantage d'un humour de potache que d'un discours jihadiste et l'AFP n'était pas en mesure de vérifier la réalité de l'accusation avancée par Trump, familier des diatribes antimusulmanes.
