Aya de Leon

Teaches creative writing at UC Berkeley Africana Studies, feminist heist novel UPTOWN THIEF forthcoming in July 2016 from Kensington Books.

Aya de Leon directs the Poetry for the People program, teaching poetry and spoken word in the African American Studies Department at UC Berkeley.
