B. Bonin Bough, PepsiCo’s Global Director of Digital and Social Media, oversees digital strategy across the company. Mr. Bough has been instrumental in integrating social media and online conversation into PepsiCo's overall corporate vision and for each of the company’s mega-brands, engaging consumers online and tracking behaviors and trends to better inform PepsiCo and brand programs.

Mr. Bough is positioning PepsiCo as synonymous with digital and social media innovation. He architected the company’s leading presence at gatekeeper digital media events in the past two years, including the famed digital media and music festival SXSW; the women-focused blogger conference BlogHer; and New York City’s Internet Week gathering. Mr. Bough launched the groundbreaking "Dear Mr. President" viral campaign that allowed Pepsi-drinkers to submit their message to newly inaugurated President Obama; created a female-targeted online community, “The Juice”, for Tropicana, where women can talk about issues that are important to them; and forged among the earliest corporate partnerships with up-and-coming social media platforms Foursquare and Stickybits.

Previous to his work with PepsiCo, Mr. Bough was Executive Vice President and Director of Weber Shandwick's global interactive, social and emerging media practice, leading a global team of more than 100 people. He led strategic programming for the agency's top clients, including MasterCard, Federation of Colombian Coffee Growers, BestBuy, Electrolux, Ambien, the MAC AIDS Fund and Honeywell. Prior, Mr. Bough was a founding member and Senior Vice President at Ruder Finn Interactive (RFI) and ran the interactive strategy unit for eight years. At RFI, he led strategy for clients and projects including Société Générale Project Finance Group, Johnson & Johnson's Nursing and Caregiver Campaigns, Kellogg's 100th Anniversary, iUniverse, Hunter Douglas, Schering Plough, Novartis, Pfizer, Berringer and over 70 other engagements and campaigns.

Mr. Bough's achievements in social and digital media and interactive marketing have earned numerous awards, including a Webby, Stevie, Golden Pencil, Sabre, Big Apple, Com Arts, and SXSW Viewers Choice for MrPicassoHead.com.

Mr. Bough was a professor from 2000 to 2005 at NYU's Center for Publishing.
