Justine

Model ; Diversity and Equality advocate

Always wanting to work behind the camera Justine studied filmmaking, editing and screenplay writing in Montreal, Canada, where she's originally from. While working as an extra on an american production being filmed there, she gets scouted as a model. She then becomes a trailblazer in her homeland by being the first plus size model to book jobs usually reserved for "skinny" models, on top of being featured in many campaigns and editorials and getting her message of size diversity published in many interviews. In 2012 she packs her things and moves to New York to expand her career and she soon lands her first major ELLE cover for ELLE Quebec, where she is seen flaunting her unretouched thigh, staring unapologetically at the camera. The cover makes headlines and a prolific international career soon follows. In 2015 the public gets to know her a little better as she is part of award winner and internationally acclaimed #ImNoAngel and #PlusIsEqual campaigns, shot by renowned photographer Cass Bird, where she is asked to share her views on topics like size equality and body diversity in the fashion industry. Images and videos of the campaign can be seen in Times Square, on billboards, subway trains and buses all across the United States and Justine is invited to discuss it on "FOX live business" and "Inside Edition". Justine is now one of the world's top "Plus Size" models and continues to spread her message of body acceptance through her work and social medias, and more recently through writing. She is currently working on her first book.
