Kara Brown

Kara Brown is a blogger for Girls Globe, an organization dedicated to raising the voices of women and girls around the world. Kara is passionate about girls' rights, social media and finding creative ways to combine the two. She holds a Law degree from University of Glasgow, has worked with young people in China and for a number of international organizations on gender-based violence, agricultural development and ethical business in India, Ethiopia and Thailand. Kara now lives in Edinburgh, where she sits on the YWCA Scotland Leadership Team and is a Board member of FGM charity DARF.
