Nathaniel Sillin

Head of Global Financial Education at Visa Inc.

As the Global Head of Financial Education at Visa Inc., Nathaniel Sillin manages the company's award winning financial literacy initiative available in more than 42 markets and 15 languages. Sillin oversees the program which has reached 40 million people worldwide and features the Practical Money Skills for Life and What's My Score programs. Sillin is an active voice in the financial education community. His weekly Practical Money Matters series, featured nationwide in 500 U.S. newspapers and a Huffington Post blog, delivers expert personal finance tips to consumers of all ages. Prior to joining Visa, Sillin managed communications for a national political party committee in Washington, D.C., acting as a spokesman for the committee and counseling congressional candidates and Members of Congress. He was a key player in the development and implementation of a comprehensive communications strategy that helped maintain a majority in the House of Representatives – a strategy acclaimed by Roll Call as "smart and carefully crafted." Sillin has also served as the Communications Director for two Members of Congress and as a government relations professional representing clients before Congress. Sillin currently sits on the National Board of Directors for the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy®, the Board of Directors of Call for Action, and is a member of the University of Vermont alumni board.
