Rachel Engel

Rachel is a freelance writer living the glamorous life of a military spouse, and the equally-as-glamorous life of a mother of two. Her daughter, Sydney, was a planned event, and her son, Jackson, was a surprise that kept on coming. He was born with a number of medical problems, prompting her to vent her fears and anxiety into a blog she created during his hospitalization, Tales From the Plastic Crib. Having a toddler and an 8-month-old, her days are spent on the floor playing horses, cars, trains, dinosaurs and peek-a-boo, and her nights are spent writing in bed while shoving her husband to stop him from snoring.
