I am a physician and epidemiologist with a passion for the visual arts. Witnessing daily tragedies as a physician in an emergency room taught me quickly the importance of gratitude. International health gave me the avenue to translate that into action. And the camera has allowed me to share the human story. I believe that the intersection of science, data, and the visual arts can inspire social change. I also believe that we are all capable of making a difference- not from a place of naivety, but determination.
