Over the years Disney has seen many changes, and rides that were around when the parks first opened are mostly gone now. Disney continues to expand on its theme parks and grow its franchise by creating parks around the world and adding to the ones that are already established. This year they’ll even be branching out to the realm of music festivals by hosting an EDM festival at Disneyland Paris.

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios there are new Star Wars rides and tours; at Animal Kingdom there are plans to open The World of Avatar; and several other attractions opening over the course of the next few years. But for new rides to open others must close. For instance, Tower of Terror in Disneyland recently closed to make room for a Guardians of the Galaxy ride, and Snow White’s Scary Adventure closed in Disney World for another ride as part of the New Fantasyland expansion.
