Anna Faris And Chris Pratt's Son Meets The Penguin He Named Last Year

It didn't go so well.

Penguins ... they grow up so fast.

Anna Faris and her adorable son, Jack, made a trip to the Woodland Park Zoo on Tuesday to finally meet Eagle the Penguin, whom they named last year.

Thankfully, Faris captured the experience in all its glory, sharing two photos of Jack and his new penguin BFF on Twitter and tagging husband Chris Pratt. Everything seemed to be going well until the 3-year-old caught wind of Eagle's distinctive stench.

"This was also a less-adorable expression upon introduction -- turns out sometimes penguins smell," Faris captioned a second photo of Jack recoiling from the animal.

The Faris-Pratt family was chosen to name a baby penguin at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, Washington, back in 2015, as the two actors both grew up in the Pacific Northwest. The trio released an adorable video together with Jack announcing their decision.

A sweet note penned by Pratt accompanied the video, describing his excitement over naming the penguin with his family.

He wrote, "Who'd have thought that 15 some years later we'd meet in Hollywood, fall in love, get married, have a baby and that baby boy would be given the opportunity to NAME A PENGUIN CHICK a[t] the zoo!? I mean come on!"
