Real Housewives Of Atlanta Star, Apollo Nida, Responds To Alleged Charity Scheme Claims (VIDEO)

Phaedra Parks' Husband: If You Wanna Attack Me I'm Gonna Attack Back

Apollo Nida is apparently fed up with how his name has been making headlines across the web. Not only is the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star awaiting his upcoming court date on charges of bank fraud and identity theft, earlier this week another alleged scheme has surfaced involving a charity event for battered women and children.

According to Radar Online, Chase DeCarlo of Dio Bambini reportedly reached out to Nida and his show castmate, Kandi Burruss to host a charity event in Chicago on May 2. Nida allegedly demanded $2,000 upfront for his appearance.

DeCarlo added that he felt “really, really leery” about paying Nida the advance lump sum because of the reality star's April 25 court date, which raised a concern the Bravo star could walk away with the money in the event of a possible conviction a week before the charity event.

Nida responded to DeCarlo’s claims in a video clip posted on YouTube on Wednesday declaring, “If you wanna attack me, I decided nowadays that I’m going to attack back.”

“I have a lot of people who are supportive, and you have a lot of haters. People who are not supportive,” he said. “At the end of the day, for you to try to mess up a brand like, Nida Fitness, Apollo Nida is a brand. And so for you to say something so derogatory…the blog site didn’t contact the individual. The individual goes out to contact the blog site and say, ‘hey, this is what I think. Here goes Apollo’s contact. My stuff is official.”

“My wife’s an attorney as everyone knows. She’s not my attorney, but hey, I’m connected with many attorneys. And so all of my contracts are official."
