It's safe to assume we all have a family member or friend who's a nurse and know how tough their job can be. Between the long hours and grueling tasks, it's nice to remind them just how much we appreciate what they do.

This week, Chipotle is stepping up to the plate and giving all nurses (RN, NP, CRNA, CNS, CNM, LVN, CNA, and local equivalents or analogues) free food on June 14 with its buy-one-get-one (BOGO) deal. Nurses who show a valid work ID will receive a free burrito, bowl, salad or order of tacos with the purchase of any entrée. The deal gives nurses the chance to split the cost of a meal with coworkers, or they could just take advantage of it for themselves and get two meals to eat during those long shifts.

It's worth noting that the deal is available at one of the restaurants only, not online. But the promotion will be available all day, so nurses can swing by when it's convenient for them.

This promotion shows how Chipotle is trying to win back customers, and we think this is a good effort.
