Even as an adult, I’ve always found such joy in homemade Valentine’s Day cards. Whether they’re for friends and family or I’m helping the kids whip something up for their classmates, I always love a good DIY. With my own kids now in school, I’m sharing some fun craft ideas we’ll be thinking of for this year...and the fun doesn’t stop with cards!

Glammed Goodie Bags

Goodie bags with some Valentine’s Day flair is one of my favorite crafts to make with my kids or give to my own friends. With Tiny Prints Valentine Stickers and standard craft bags, you can update the bags to look modern and chic for your friends or cutesy for your kids’ classmates. I like to mix up what I add inside, whether it’s a few cute pencils and stickers or my favorite sweet treats.

Heart Faces

Sometimes we add these to the Valentine’s bags, sometimes we just make these for friends and family, but one of my favorite crafts to do with the kids are these adorable heart “faces”. All it involves is having the kids draw faces on hearts (feel free to pre-cut the hearts for the young ones).I love when my kiddos get creative and share them with their peers for V-Day. And it’s super easy!

Modern Valentine

Nothing says 2017 like emojis! I love how these cute cards turned out from Housing a Forest. I’ll definitely be making these for my friends and neighbors this year -- we’ll see which emojis I end up replicating!

When Homemade Isn’t An Option...

Although I am a craft fanatic, sometimes I just don’t have a single moment to make anything for Valentine’s Day. Luckily, Tiny Prints has the cutest classroom cards that I can order instead. They’re quirky, cute and I can even add photos to make them super personal. Win win!
