Grace Coddington Shows Instagram Who The Boss Is In The Most Vogue Way Ever (UPDATE)

Grace Coddington Shows Instagram Who The Real Boss Is

UPDATE: A rep from Instagram reached out in response to the incident. They said: "When our team processes reports from other members of the Instagram community, we occasionally make a mistake. In this case, we wrongly removed content and worked to rectify the error as soon as we were notified. We apologize for any convenience."

In a world where Instagram deletes accounts of our beloved pop stars and deems a cartoon drawing of nipples as "inappropriate," it's nice to know there are still some people fighting against the man.

And who better to spearhead that movement than the amazing-haired, wildly talented resident awesome woman at Vogue Grace Coddington?

After her account was deleted for violating the 'Gram's "no-nudity clause" with pretty much the most tame naked drawing of herself ever (LOL), Coddington did what anyone else would do -- post another drawing, this time of her naked cats. But don't worry, she was sure to censor the cat's private parts, presumably for the sake of keeping her sacred account alive.

The photo, which is captioned "Good grief Pumpkin, Mother drew a nude selfie for her very first Instagram. no wonder they shut her down ... she is much fatter than that," proves that not only is Coddington a fabulous artist, but doesn't take herself (or her social media accounts) too seriously. A refreshing sentiment from someone who, next to Anna Wintour is arguably one of the most influential figures in the fashion world.

Well played, Ms. Coddington. Here's hoping a whole slew of "racy" drawings are to come.
