The Aloha State beckons visitors from around the world with its miles of scenic coastline. Whether it's your first or fiftieth time visiting the islands, Hawaii is always a good idea. GAYOT has rated Hawaii's Best Beaches, so be sure to check out the full list to find your next Hawaiian beach getaway.

Makena BeachWailea, HI

This scenic white-sand beach is the largest in South Maui, offering some of the most beautiful crystal-clear water for swimming, snorkeling and quick dips in between sunbathing. You'll enjoy views of the nearby Molokini and Kahoolawe islands and appreciate the picnic tables where you can fuel up with friends and family.

Hapuna BeachWaimea, HI

With a spacious sandy coastline and a large recreational park area, it's no wonder Hapuna Beach is a favorite on the Big Island. The summer months leading to Labor Day are the beach's most popular time for those looking to boogie board, swim, snorkel and soak up the sun -- just remember there isn't much shade here, so load up on that sunblock. If you just can't resist leaving, rent one of the cabins for overnight fun.

Kailua Beach ParkKailua, HI

Clear water, gentle breezes, white sand beach and plenty of aquatic rental options make Kailua Beach Park a must for water sports. Although this Oahu beach is only a half-mile, it's just 30 minutes from Waikiki and remains a favorite for windsurfing, parasailing, kayaking and swimming.
