Beware if you’re planning on eating at Jennifer Lawrence’s house.
The Oscar-winning actor recently shared a story about serving a rather interesting meal to her dear friend and co-star, Robert Pattinson, and it’s gotten quite the reaction.
Lawrence said during an appearance on the U.K.’s “The Graham Norton Show” last week, that she and some girlfriends were all watching “Little Women” together, when the “Twilight” star said that he was nearby.
“I was like, ‘Oh my god.’ Because Rob is one of the girls,” the “Silver Linings Playbook” actor said.
“He wants to gossip. He is just one of the gals. So I was like, ‘Come over.’ He’s also like my daughter,” she explained. “He’s a great father, he’s a professional, he shows up on time. But I wouldn’t trust that he put a coat on, he’s not gonna, like, eat on time.”
“So he comes in, I give him a hug. And he’s like, ‘You have any food? I’m so hungry.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah ― come in.’ And then he goes to the bathroom, and I do have food, but it’s in the trash,” she told Norton.
“So, while he was in the bathroom, I was just like, pulling food out of my garbage can,” Lawrence said, adding that her girlfriends were in shock.
“So he eats it, and we’re all just kind of like ― watching him eat this trash. And then, when he was finished, he was like, ‘I’m still hungry, is there more?’” she said. “And I’m like, ‘Well, there is, but it’s in the garbage.’ And he’s like, ‘Oh, I don’t mind.’ And then he just pulled it out of the trash and kept eating it.”
All proving that one actor’s trash can be another actor’s dinner.
People had mixed reactions to Lawrence’s tale.
“Ohhh Jennifer Lawrence — she hasn’t changed one bit! Goodness, it’s been a while since she’s been in the spotlight. Love her,” one commenter wrote on Norton’s show’s official Instagram page.
“If she feels so maternal towards him, why would she feed him from the bin???” another person added. Someone else commented, “This whole story sounds like a fever dream.”
Some were in disbelief and downright didn’t believe the story was real. Which, if Lawrence is anything like Pattinson on a press tour, is a correct take to have.
The “Tenet” actor has previously admitted he made up stories in the past when speaking to media.
