The Tar Heels men's basketball team surpassed expectations and is back for another title. Visit John Bradberry Charlotte NC to learn more.

John Bradberry of Charlotte, NC is a hardcore Tar Heels fan. This season, without Marcus Paige and Brice Johnson in the Tar Heels' arsenal, he still thinks the glass is half-full for the team. Find out why below:

Are you one of those fans that called for Coach Roy Williams' resignation after that devastating loss to Duke and Villanova? You know who you are, and I hope you're following the games right now, because the Tar Heels are faring better than expected. Here are some of the reasons why I think the Tar Heels will shine this 2016-2017 season:

#1: We've got depth and talent – Okay so Marcus Paige and Brice Johnson are out but the Tar Heels isn't a two-man team (unless that's the reason why you're a Tar Heels in the first place, in which case this would be a different discussion altogether). We've still got the likes of Justin Jackson, Joel Berry, Theo Pinson, and Kennedy Meeks to pick up the slack and finish strong in the ACC.

#2: We've got the freshmen – The Tar Heels are lucky as they never run out of potential stars to develop. This season, we've got Tony Bradley, Seventh Woods, and Brandon Robinson; three players who easily rank in the top 10 across the country. These guys are expected to contribute both on the offense and defense off the bench. How these three develop over the course of their stay at Chapel Hill should be interesting to watch.

#3: Coach Williams still has it – To go back to my point about Coach Williams, I believe he is far from being done with his basketball career. With the team chemistry he has developed, fans shouldn't be worried about the team falling apart. If anything, he and the boys may only be more determined to snag that championship, fair and square.

#4 The last reason and probably the only reason you need to support the North Carolina Tar Heels is that the greatest player of all time attended school their. The one and only Michael Jordan. Go Heels!
