There is nothing like New York's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week taking place each year. The energy and vibe of the fashion industry is contagious launching at the front doors. The hustle and bustle between fashion shows can become exhausting and the best place to wind down, recoup and catch up on emails is at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Star Lounge located inside Lincoln Center.

For the second season, interior designer Wesley Cadle has proved his brilliant talent. Inspired by Pucci's geometric patterns and Chanel's florals, Cadle has created an environment and aesthetic inside the Star Lounge to make people feel right at home. Decorated with cucumber greens, pops of pink, light grays and soft blacks, his pallet is serene and welcoming.

Cadle commissioned artists from the Porter Teleo studio to hand paint enlarged contemporary geometric patterns across the walls and ceiling creating a beautiful environment to kick back and relax inside. This idea was influenced from a silk scarf which was translated onto wallpaper.

One of my favorite pieces of artwork inside the Star Lounge is Stephanie Hirsch's Keep Calm and Carry On black and gold hand-beaded canvas placed above a marvelous sandstone mantle by Chesney's UK. Hirsch also created whimsical pink hand-beaded "I heart MBFW" pillows for each of the lounge chairs.

Cadle's talent keeping his clients in mind at all times with his direction has proved yet another successful and inviting atmosphere at New York's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Star Lounge area.
