Long before Nicole Kidman made the Moulin Rouge in Paris famous with a 21st-century audience in the 2001 hit film, the club was a hub of performance and culture. It even hosted American dance troupe, the Hoffman Girls, formed by legendary vaudeville dancer and choreographer, Gertrude Hoffman.

According to Reddit user DosGradeManos the below photo is a snapshot of the Moulin Rouge dressing room when the Hoffman girls performed at the club in 1924. It makes us wish we could see them perform in Paris today.
