Do you want a $10,000 gift card to casual dining restaurant BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse? Just name your baby Quinoa.

The chain, which has 163 "BJ's" restaurants across the nation, announced Wednesday that in celebration of its new quinoa bowl dishes, it is offering the massive gift card to parents who name their newborn baby after the high-protein grain.

We are so excited to introduce these amazing new Quinoa Bowls that we wanted to do something big, maybe even a little crazy,” Chief Marketing Officer Kevin Maye said in a statement.

If you're trying to win, you better hurry. The official contest rules dictate that there will only be one winner, and that person is whoever names his or her baby Quinoa first during the contest period, which began at 12:00 a.m. PDT on June 22. No, middle names and nicknames don't count, and you have to back it up with a birth certificate.

That's right: You could call your progeny Quinoa, doom him or her to a life of mockery, and still not get $10,000 worth of Cherry Chipotle Glazed Salmon and Carnitas Fries with Chile Verde if you're not the first one to do it.

Personally, we think any sap desperate enough to name their child Quinoa just for a gift card should be rewarded/punished with an endless supply of BJ's.
