Grazia recently caught up with supermodel Naomi Campbell and, among other things, the magazine spoke to her about her 2007 court-ordered community service stint.
She had to toil at the New York City Sanitation Department Depot after pleading guilty to hitting her housekeeper in the head with a cell phone...and she got gussied up to work each day -- ending her week in a Dolce & Gabbana gown and stilettos, if you remember.
So what did Miss Campbell have to say about her community service couture?
Grazia: But you wore couture every day, right?
Naomi: Yep! Why shouldn't I have done? Why should they expect me to go looking bedraggled or something?
Grazia: When did you decide to dress like that?
Naomi: I didn't, it wasn't planned at all. I decided on the day and I still gave them what they wanted, it didn't stop me from doing what I had to do though.
She noted that she changed into boots to actually do the work.
