In my lifetime, I have been fortunate to have a mentor who looks out for me and is close to my heart:
My mother!
Her biggest strength is her faith to believe in the impossible. Her ability to hold onto that belief to never, ever give up. She passed this power to me with her energy and her actions. I witnessed her determination and became attracted to that energy. It pushed me through some of the hardest times in my life.
I believe we all have an energy within us, to propel us forward to achieve the impossible.
My life is proof that this energy exists within us and my stories are told in my forthcoming book of memoirs, “The Human Touch ~ A Story About Connections”.
All of us have special gifts and talents and our quest is to discover them through our experiences in life and in our connections to others. Acceptance is the first step to slowly unwrap them. Then learn to use them in your life. Because buried deep within these gifts and talents, you will find a treasure. As you push yourself to the edge of life, you ignite a power within you to become invincible. That is, your personal power!

Ask yourself this question, why do you do what you do? For your family, friends and your work endeavours. Why???
There is a fine line in all we do that separates the why we do this, to what we do this for. This is our cause in life, it makes us feel alive.
When I was young, I was taught to be mindful to those around me, to never step on them for material gains and to acknowledge them by showing respect. When we learn to respect each other, we bring peace in the world and amongst each other.
In my book, which I am currently writing, I talk about The Power of One. I believe there is a power within us all. When ignited, it becomes so strong that it moves with us. If we tap into it, we can make a difference in life. When you search to understand meaning through your experiences, you begin to feel alive. As you become attuned to this frequency within you, you discover your inner guide! This is your instinct or gut feeling and it will lead you to your life’s path.
In this process of self-discovery, you are presented with the gifts of self-awareness. And you learn to believe in yourself.
In a world where so much change is happening so quickly, consider this: It takes one person to sow a thought into the world … to work towards a better future for all of us. However, when the connection of many comes together to become the power of one, we work together to help others for the greater good. Then, there will be an even greater chance that we create an opportunity to start a change and make a difference in this world.
