Why the NI U-turn is a victory for the British People

Phillip Hammond has just announced a U-turn on NI tax rises. Many self employed people like me were unhappy with this policy and the day after it was announced I spoke on the BBC national news about why it was an unfair decision.

Many others expressed their concerns over the massive rise in NI taxes for the self employed and The Chancellor has taken notice. This is important. The change is not just a victory for small business owners and the self employed, it is a signal that the Government will listen when called to account for broken promises and unfair legislation. This is a great start. The millions of self employed people who take on great risk to start something new and boost the economy in enterprising ways should not be penalised through a lack of holiday time, sick pay and parental leave.
