Everyone makes mistakes - even police officers.
But one woman in Sicily was grateful for the error after receiving a parking ticket initially issued for $44,500, the AFP reports.
It turns out an officer accidentally noted the ticket was issued in 208 instead of 2008. Oops.
Police fessed up to the flub, and the woman's husband took care of the $144 violation, which now seems trivial by comparison.
