I went into Reaching For the Moon as blind as could be, having never heard of Elizabeth Bishop, her poetry, Lota de Macedo Soares, or the creation of Flamengo Park, and I left totally curious and enthralled by all of it.
Jobs got hammered by critics and has performed poorly at the box office. However, I'm guessing a lot of those critics aren't like me -- someone who grew up on Apple computers, devoured Walt Isaacson's biography, and has followed the company's every move for years.
Maybe you didn't have time to read Walter Isaacson's 656-page biography of Steve Jobs -- a little long, ironically, for reading on the iPhone and iPad. No worries, Apple fanboys and girls: There's plenty more to come.
